Similar to the larger sizes of this now iconic lure, the Mag Lip 2.0 and 2.5 dive extra-deep while yielding an erratic, darting “skip-beat” action that produces savage strikes from fish like trout, Kokanee, crappie, and walleye. And while this lure was designed for trolling, it can be cast and retrieved if you employ thin diameter line in combination with a spinning reel; a method that is popular in rivers where swinging a plug through the holding water can produce savage strikes from fish waiting to ambush their prey.

Factory rigged with a size #10 treble hook, the 2.0 Mag Lip will swim correctly when treble hook is replaced with a size 6 or 8 siwash style single hook and performs best when single hook is attached via double split rings.
